HELLO SPRING SUMMER WITH BRISBANE AIRPORT

HELLO SPRING SUMMER WITH BRISBANE AIRPORT

Check out my favourite spring summer picks from Brisbane Airport

SPRING SUMMER REPORT

Need some spring summer fashion inspiration? Look no further than my top picks from Brisbane Airport. This season it’s all about beautiful silhouettes, denim, florals (of course) and pretty pinks! Which is perfect for this time of year – especially with our sizzling hot Australian summer just around the corner. I headed out to Brisbane Airport to share my take on this year’s hottest spring summer trends.

As you know, I always love to showcase a more dressed up version of an outfit and it’s relaxed version. Brisbane Airport retailers Witchery, Seed and Sunglass Hut nailed these summer styles. With Witchery’s beautiful floral prints that have just landed in store, you will not be disappointed.

Of course you can’t have a killer summer outfit without a pair of super fly sunglasses. As you see featured on the right here, I chose these Celine frames from Sunglass Hut as the staple frame to have this spring summer! So let’s get into it, the first look I have is inspired by florals and beautiful silhouettes from Witchery.

FLORALS

&

SILHOUETTES

Destination: Witchery

Items: Belted Blazer, Cropped Wide Leg Pant, Tropical Floral Scarf & Gracie Bucket Crossbody Bag

My first look is from Witchery which is inspired by the Whitsundays. Nothing beats a beautiful light weight blazer and a pleated floral palazzo pant. I embraced the floral print in the pant and added in the matching scarf, tying it around this cute pale pink bucket bag to bring the outfit together. Scarves are the perfect accessory for summer as you can add them to bags, tie them around your head or wrap them around your neck if it gets a bit unexpectedly chilly. It’s a great way to incorporate a print into your summer wardrobe.

Now onto the silhouette aspect of this look. I chose the Belted Blazer for this ensemble because it creates a beautiful shape around your waist. A great reason to carry a belted blazer with you when you travel, is because you can throw it over your sundress or even over a bikini with a pool slide (trust me – you’ll look smoking hot). You just have to make sure it’s either white or a pastel colour and in a light material like linen or cotton to achieve that wow factor.

So if you’re travelling into or out of Brisbane Airport make sure to check out Witchery for these spring summer finds.

DENIM

&

PINK

Destination: Seed and Sunglass Hut

Items: Two-way cami, Frayed-hem denim jacket, Fray hem denim short, Ring detail sling bag & Celine Sunglasses

This outfit is a bit more fun and flirty for Spring Summer. Thanks to the fabulous denim range available in Seed, I was able to showcase my favourite double denim combination. Double denim doesn’t always have to be in blue wash as you’ve seen in your favourite 90’s teen flick. Opt for a pastel or white version of your denim favourites this summer for a refreshing approach to denim and pinks this summer.

To finish off this spring summer outfit I added an ultra-chic Celine frame from Sunglass Hut. These sunglasses are the ultimate accessory for spring summer – seriously a must have! Perfect for literally any outfit, the key to this sunglass success is the frame style. So keep your eye peeled for a frame style like this for your wardrobe.

Next time you’re in Brisbane Airport make sure to check out these finds!

Bonus spring summer tips!

Destination: Mecca Maxima

Items: Frank Body Anti-Angry Face Mist and Anti-Make Up Cleansing Oil

I love face mists and cleansing oils! They are the ultimate summer skincare items to carry around in your bag. Not only are these Frank Body items compact but they keep your skin feeling super fresh!

Destination: Peter Alexander

Items: Karen Mabon Pottery Scarf Nightshirt

Isn’t this piece just adorable? Perfect for those cool summer nights. I believe PJs with a sleeve is perfect for travelling in summer. You never know what type of weather awaits you when you travel.
